I am working with a "Christian" who doesn't believe In objective morality, the inerrancy of scripture, he even says that there's f'ed up s$#t in the bible in reference to OT punishment for homosexuality, if I'm not mistaken. I think he is an old earther and is in that what's true 4 me might not be true 4 you crowd.
I, too, deal with such a "Christian" on a regular basis. Two, actually, though one I've pretty much chosen to disregard totally due to his less than Christian antics. I guess there's at least one in every crowd. Just the same, I take a less than Christian joy in yanking his chain with facts and Scripture. Challenging them to defend their counter-Christian beliefs never results in their use of Scripture to do so.
I've been dealing with mine for over a decade now. There's a great deal of animosity that's grown between us. Many have written the guy off. I use him to improve my methods of relating Scripture, since he is always putting that to the test with his less than Scripture-based positions.
I wonder if yours and mine are the same dude?
I doubt it. I'm talking about someone I worked with at rural king. Although now I can't even remember his name. We have a high turnover rate there. Most people dont last more than a few months.
