The purpose of this blog is to provide insights from the Christian perspective. It exists to present the teachings of the glorious Gospel through the preaching of sound doctrine, biblical exegesis, and by conducting apologetics. The Apostle Paul gave the following exhortation, "...that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another." (1 Corinthians 4:6)

Things Required For Honest Self-Examination
Scripture Does Speak Of Professing Christians Examining Themselves:
-"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?" (2 Corinthians 13:5)
We Need An Honest Heart:
-One must objectively evaluate findings regarding personal status with God.
-We must hate every false way.
-Truth must be our top priority.
The Standard Of Truth Used In Self-Analysis:
-Conscience is a valuable instrument, though liable to error.
-Divine revelation is infallible.
-Therefore, Scripture is to always function as our final authority in spiritual discernment.
