Why The Deity Of Jesus Christ Matters

"The examination, then, of the evidence as to whether Jesus Christ was God is of basic and paramount importance to the Christian, for if He was not God, then the Christian religion is no different from any of the other religions of the world. It would be merely a natural religion. But if Jesus Christ was truly God, if He was really existent before His birth as a human being in Bethlehem, then the Christian religion is a supernatural religion."

  1. This is what sets Christianity apart from all the other religions of the word, the other religions claim to believe in a god or gods/goddesses, but none of those pagan gods (devils really!) had manifested themselves in such a way as to prove that they are the true God. Jesus, However, Put on flesh and proved his divinity by his zeal for righteousness, healing of the sick, casting out devils, fulfilled prophecy, a self sacrificingly dying on our behalf.
