Identifying Signs Of Liberal Apostasy In Christian Churches
-Personal feelings are usually given a greater amount of emphasis or a higher level of authority than biblical commandments, which were directly given to us by the apostles, prophets, their closest associates, and by our Lord Jesus Christ. In these corrupt church environments, personal feelings on issues of spiritual discernment are treated as though they are the ultimate standard of truth, rather than what is revealed through Scripture.
-People oftentimes reinterpret Scripture passages that flatly contradict their personal beliefs or redefine terms for essential historic Christian doctrines according to their own whims (defending homosexual marriage, female elders, etc.). In fact, a liberal mindset tends to view the concept of having essentials as being hateful. There are even professing Christians who reject the divine inspiration of Scripture altogether and historicity of Genesis narratives.
-People who are affiliated with these apostate churches oftentimes focus on having a sense of emotional "freedom and equality," rather than emphasizing the purity of the gospel. Those who decide to plainly reveal the truth in regards to sin and eternal condemnation in hell are opposed bitterly in such surroundings. While it is true that Christians should be caring for minority crowds in the midst of ruthless bullying or persecution, the heart of the Christian religion, the gospel, will always be defined as the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-8). Truth is not a thing to be compromised.
